The Company Dinner

Another great Las Chicas day
We had another great “work” day on October 6th. Here are two of the girls having their first experience harvesting a carrot. We did a little bit of weeding and planting and a whole lot of eating and talking. For lunch, we had avocado sandwiches with lots of lettuce from the garden and a great quinoa and vegetable soup with carrots, brocolli, wax beans and peas from the garden. It is fun to see the newbies learn how to harvest things they have never seen growing.
